With the Taycan, Porsche is opening a new chapter in automotive manufacturing history. The sports car icon is built at the main plant in Zuffenhausen. The state-of-the-art production starts in a Zero Impact Factory: flexible and networked, with responsible and efficient use of resources, and a laser-like focus on sustainability and environmental protection. The Taycan experiences Production 4.0 “in the flesh” as it moves from body construction to the crest.

Porsche is setting new standards with the Taycan. 800-volt architecture for up to 450 km of range in the WLTP, a charging system that “fuels up” for a 100-km trip in just five minutes. And: Typical Porsche performance. The Taycan goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. Driving dynamics, design, technology, cockpit ergonomics, charging times –the Taycan opens the e-mobility chapter at Porsche.
